of <h1>Haryana GST Act Amended: TCS Rate Cut from 0.5% to 0.25%, Effective Retroactively from July 10, 2024.</h1> The Haryana Government has amended Notification No. 89/GST-2, dated September 21, 2018, under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment reduces the rate of Tax Collected at Source (TCS) from 0.5% to 0.25%. This change is made under the authority of the Governor of Haryana, following recommendations from the Council. The amendment is retroactively effective from July 10, 2024. The notification is issued by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Excise and Taxation Department.
