of <h1>Government Cancels SEZ Project for IT Services in Pune; 1.72 Hectares De-notified After Developer Proposal.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded the notifications related to a proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Wagholi and Kharadi Villages, Pune District, Maharashtra. Initially, an area of 6.69 hectares was notified, with 4.97 hectares de-notified earlier. Now, the remaining 1.72 hectares are also de-notified following a proposal by M/s. AIGP Developers (Pune) Private Limited and a No Objection Certificate from the Maharashtra State Government. The Development Commissioner of SEEPZ SEZ recommended this action, aligning the land use with state guidelines.
