<h1>Uttar Pradesh GST Act Amendment: Effective Date Changed from April 1, 2024, to May 15, 2024, per Governor's Order.</h1> The Governor of Uttar Pradesh has issued an amendment to a previous notification under the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the effective date in paragraph 4 of the original notification from '1st day of April, 2024' to '15th day of May, 2024.' This amendment is deemed effective from April 1, 2024. The order was authorized by the Governor following recommendations from the Council.
