The amendment modifies the tax rate mentioned in the original notification, changing 'half per cent.' to '0.25 per cent.' This amendment, made on the recommendation of the Goods and Services Tax Council, is effective retroactively from July 10, 2024. The notification was issued by the Finance Department and authorized by the Deputy Secretary to the Government.
