of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Engineering SEZ at Kesurde, Includes Key Government Officials Under SEZ Act 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the engineering sector Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Kesurde Village, District Satara, Maharashtra, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee includes a Chairperson and several ex-officio members: the Development Commissioner of SEEPZ SEZ, a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Commissioners of Customs and Income Tax, a Director from the Ministry of Finance, two officers from the Government of Maharashtra, and a special invitee from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. In the Development Commissioner's absence, a Joint Development Commissioner will represent him.
