This appointment enables the Commissioner to exercise the powers and duties of the Commissioner of Customs at the Inter Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi. The purpose is to adjudicate matters related to a show cause notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence on April 25, 2008. This decision is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, as per Notification No. 122/2008-Cus., dated November 12, 2008.
