<h1>Bihar Tax Amendment Extends GSTR-1 Filing Deadline for March 2024 to April 12, 2024, under GST Act 2017.</h1> The Commercial Tax Department of Bihar issued an amendment to Notification No. S.O. 206, dated December 23, 2020, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective April 11, 2024, extends the deadline for registered persons to furnish details of outward supplies in FORM GSTR-1 for the tax period of March 2024. The new deadline is April 12, 2024, applicable to those not required to furnish returns under the specific proviso of sub-section (1) of section 39 of the Act. This amendment was made on the recommendation of the Council.
