<h1>Bihar Governor Amends GST Notification S.O. 159; Effective Date Changed to May 15, 2024, u/s 148 Authority.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, utilizing the authority granted by section 148 of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. S.O. 159 dated April 15, 2024. The amendment changes the effective date in paragraph 4 from '1st day of April, 2024' to '15th day of May, 2024.' This amendment is issued by the Commercial Taxes Department and takes effect from April 1, 2024. The notification is authorized by the Commissioner of State Tax-cum-Secretary.
