of <h1>Uttarakhand GST Act Amended: New Definition for Central and State Government Entities Effective October 20, 2023.</h1> The Government of Uttarakhand has amended Notification No. 515/2017 dated June 29, 2017, under the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from October 20, 2023, modifies the entry in the Table against serial number 6, column (4), to include the 'Central Government [excluding Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)], State Government, Union territory or a local authority.' This change is made in the public interest and on the recommendation of the Council, as per the powers conferred by the Act.
