of <h1>Goa Amends GST Notification: Effective Date Changed to May 15, 2024, u/s 148 of the Act.</h1> The Government of Goa has issued an amendment to Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(271)/4077 dated 29th January 2024, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the effective date in paragraph 4 from '1st day of April, 2024' to '15th day of May, 2024.' This amendment is authorized by section 148 of the Act and is effective from 1st April 2024. The notification was issued by the Department of Finance, Revenue & Control Division, and signed by the Under Secretary of Finance.
