Special Economic Zone designation enables sector-specific IT/ITES development under the SEZ Act following statutory approval and notification. Central Government notification under the Special Economic Zones Act designates 10 hectares at Plot No.5, Sector-144, Noida as a sector-specific SEZ for IT and ITES. The Government recorded satisfaction that statutory prerequisites for approval were fulfilled and granted a letter of approval to M/s. IVR Prime IT SEZ Private Limited for development and operation, and exercised its power under the Act and applicable SEZ Rules to notify the land as an SEZ.
