of <h1>Meghalaya Amends GST Notification: Date Extended to August 31, 2023, u/s 128 of MGST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya has issued an amendment to Notification No. ERTS(T)65/2017/Pt/159, originally dated January 2, 2018. This amendment, under Notification No. 22/2023-State Tax, changes the date in the seventh proviso from June 30, 2023, to August 31, 2023. The amendment is made under the authority of section 128 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and is effective retroactively from June 30, 2023. The amendment was published in the Gazette of Meghalaya, with the latest prior amendment being Notification Number 2/2023-State Tax dated March 31, 2023.
