<h1>CBIC Updates Tariff Values for Palm Oils, Soybean Oil, Brass, Gold, Silver, Areca Nuts Effective April 16, 2024.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued Notification No. 29/2024-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on April 15, 2024, amending the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are set for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oils, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These changes will take effect from April 16, 2024. The notification updates previous values established in Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) and its subsequent amendments.
