of <h1>Notification exempts export duty on Kalanamak rice exports via specified customs stations, subject to quantity and certificate conditions</h1> Notification exempts export duty on Kalanamak rice (specified tariff headings) above the standard customs schedule so that duty payable is nil, subject to conditions: exports must be routed through designated customs stations (Varanasi Air Cargo, JNCH, CH Kandla, LCS Nepalgunj Road, LCS Sonauli or LCS Barhni); aggregate exports via those stations must not exceed 1,000 metric tonnes; and the exporter must furnish a certificate from the Director, Agriculture Marketing & Foreign Trade, Lucknow, to the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs confirming item and quantity. The notification was issued 2 April 2024 and took effect 3 April 2024.
