of <h1>Assam Amends GST Notification: Submit Form GST CMP-08 for June 2022 Quarter by July 31, 2022.</h1> The Government of Assam has amended Notification No. FTX.56/2017/412, originally dated June 13, 2019, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from July 5, 2022, requires specified individuals to submit a statement detailing self-assessed tax payments in Form GST CMP-08 for the quarter ending June 30, 2022, by July 31, 2022. This change was made based on recommendations from the Council and is documented in Notification eCF No. 168833/277, dated September 14, 2023.
