of <h1>Telangana Amends GST Notification No. 3/2017; Tax Rate for Serial No. 1 Now 6%, Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of Telangana has amended Notification No. 3/2017-State Tax (Rate) through Notification No. 08/2022, dated November 3, 2022. This amendment, made under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, changes the tax rate in the original notification. Specifically, in the table of Notification No. 3/2017, the entry in column (4) against Serial No. 1 is revised to '6%.' This amendment is effective from July 18, 2022. The order was issued by the Chief Secretary in the name of the Governor of Telangana.
