<h1>Notification No. 17/2024: Tariff Values for Key Commodities Unchanged, Updates Ensure Consistency Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 17/2024, amending the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective March 7, 2024, the tariff values for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts remain unchanged. The notification updates the tables listing the tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne or per specified unit for these commodities, ensuring consistency with previous notifications.
