of <h1>Punjab GST Act: Account Aggregators Authorized for Info Sharing via Common Portal with Consent, Effective October 1, 2023.</h1> The Government of Punjab has issued a notification under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, designating 'Account Aggregator' systems as authorized entities with which information may be shared via the common portal, contingent on consent under section 158A. An 'Account Aggregator' is defined as a non-financial banking company operating under the Reserve Bank of India's policy directions. This notification, effective from October 1, 2023, aims to facilitate the sharing of information in the public interest, as recommended by the Council.
