of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir GST Amendment Adds Millet Flour Food Preparations to Schedule, Effective October 20, 2023.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an amendment to Notification No. SRO-GST 2/2017 under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from October 20, 2023, adds a new entry, S. No. 94A, to the Schedule. It specifies that food preparations of millet flour in powder form, containing at least 70% millets by weight, and not pre-packaged and labeled, are included. This change is made in the public interest following recommendations from the Council.
