of <h1>Tamil Nadu GST Act Authorizes Account Aggregators for Information Sharing with Consent from October 1, 2023, u/s 158A.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu, under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has notified 'Account Aggregator' systems as authorized entities for information sharing via the common portal, contingent on consent. This decision, effective from October 1, 2023, is made in accordance with section 158A of the Tamil Nadu GST Act and section 20 of the Integrated GST Act, 2017. An 'Account Aggregator' is defined as a non-financial banking company operating under Reserve Bank of India guidelines, as per the Non-Banking Financial Company--Account Aggregator Directions, 2016.
