<h1>New Customs Tariff Values Set for 2024: Updates on Oils, Metals, and Areca Nuts under Notification No. 12/2024-Customs (N.T.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962, effective February 16, 2024. The updated tariff values include crude palm oil at $890 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $901, crude palmolein at $907, RBD palmolein at $910, crude soybean oil at $903, and brass scrap at $4859 per metric tonne. Gold is valued at $639 per 10 grams, and silver at $716 per kilogram. Areca nuts are set at $6259 per metric tonne. These changes are outlined in Notification No. 12/2024-Customs (N.T.).
