of <h1>Amended SEZ Rules Permit Free Goods Procurement and Export to Foreign Buyers Under Section 55</h1> A government notification amends the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, specifically modifying rule 27(6) to allow goods to be procured free of charge from a foreign buyer and subsequently exported back to the same buyer. The amendment was issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry under Section 55 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
