of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Notification No. 1/2017: Changes to Schedule I Tax Rates Effective January 2024.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has issued an amendment to Notification No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from January 4, 2024, this amendment modifies entries in Schedule I related to tax rates. Specifically, entries for S. No. 165 and S. No. 165A in the notification are substituted with new entries 2711 12 00, 2711 13 00, and 2711 19 10. This change is made under the authority of the Governor of Mizoram, following recommendations from the Council.
