of <h1>Punjab GST Act Amended to Include Satellite Launch Services in Tax Exemptions, Effective July 27, 2023.</h1> The Government of Punjab has issued an amendment to Notification No. S.O 37/P.A.5/2017/S.11/2017 dated June 30, 2017, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from July 27, 2023, modifies the entry in the Table against serial number 19C to include 'Satellite launch services.' This change is made by the Governor of Punjab, following the Council's recommendations, in the interest of public welfare. The amendment was officially notified on December 22, 2023, by the Department of Excise and Taxation.
