of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Against Indian Rupee Effective December 22, 2023 Under Section 14</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued a notification superseding the previous exchange rate notification dated 7th December 2023. Effective from 22nd December 2023, the rates of exchange for various foreign currencies against the Indian rupee for import and export purposes are specified in the attached schedules. These rates replace the earlier notification except for actions taken prior to the supersession. The notification is issued under the authority of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, and remains in effect until further revisions.
