<h1>New Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Effective Dec 16, 2023, per Notification 91/2023-Customs (N.T.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has amended the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective December 16, 2023, the updated values include crude palm oil at $864 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $873, crude soyabean oil at $1012, and brass scrap at $4802. Gold is valued at $659 per 10 grams, while silver is $776 per kilogram. Areca nuts are priced at $8140 per metric tonne. These changes are part of Notification No. 91/2023-Customs (N.T.) and supersede previous values set in Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.).
