<h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT SEZ in Tamil Nadu Under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) dedicated to information technology and IT-enabled services at Zamin Pallavaram Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. This committee, formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, is chaired by the Development Commissioner of the SEZ and includes members from various government departments, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Customs, Income Tax, and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau. A representative from the developer, M/s SNP Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., is a special invitee.
