of <h1>Goa amends GST notification, adds entry 6AA for refund of input tax credit on imitation zari thread.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(5/2017-Rate) dated June 30, 2017, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective October 20, 2023, a new entry, 6AA, has been added to the notification's table. This entry pertains to imitation zari thread or yarn made from metallised polyester film/plastic film. It specifies that this entry applies only for the refund of input tax credit related to polyester film/plastic film. The amendment follows recommendations from the Council and is issued by the Department of Finance, Revenue & Control Division, Goa.
