of <h1>Bihar GST Amendment: New Entry 94A for Millet Flour Preparations Effective October 20, 2023, Excludes Pre-Packaged Products.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) to include a new entry, 94A, in the schedule. This entry pertains to food preparations of millet flour, in powder form, containing at least 70% millets by weight, excluding pre-packaged and labeled products. This amendment, recommended by the Council, is deemed necessary in the public interest and will take effect on October 20, 2023. The notification was issued by the Commercial Tax Department under the authority of the Governor.
