of <h1>Haryana Amends GST Notification: Includes Indian Railways in Serial No. 5, Excludes It from Serial No. 5A Services.</h1> The Haryana Government has issued an amendment to Notification No. 48/ST-2 under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 20, 2023, the amendment modifies the original notification dated June 30, 2017. Specifically, it updates the table in the notification by inserting references to the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways) alongside the Department of Posts under serial number 5, and excludes the Ministry of Railways from the services supplied by the Central Government under serial number 5A. The amendment is authorized by the Governor of Haryana based on the Council's recommendations.
