of <h1>Goa amends GST notification: Special procedures take effect January 1, 2024, retroactive from July 31, 2023.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended its previous notification dated August 30, 2023, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment specifies that the special procedure outlined in the original notification will take effect from January 1, 2024. This change is retroactively applicable from July 31, 2023. The amendment was issued by the Department of Finance, Revenue & Control Division, and is authorized by the Under Secretary, Finance (R&C), in the name of the Governor of Goa.
