of <h1>New VAT Officer Appointed Under Section 66 of Delhi VAT Act 2004; Effective Immediately as of September 12, 2008.</h1> The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has appointed an individual as a Value Added Tax Officer. This appointment is made under the authority granted by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 66 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, and in accordance with rule 47 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Rules, 2005. The officer will assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in the administration of the Act. The notification, issued by the Department of Trade and Taxes, is effective immediately as of September 12, 2008.
