of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Issues New Notification for Tobacco Manufacturers: Report Packing Machines and Maintain Production Logs.</h1> The Himachal Pradesh government has issued Notification No. 30/2023-State Tax, detailing procedures for registered manufacturers of certain goods under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Manufacturers must report details of packing machines via FORM SRM-I and SRM-IIA on a common portal, with unique IDs generated for each machine. Additional records, such as daily input and production logs, must be maintained in specified formats (FORM SRM-IIIA and SRM-IIIB). A special monthly statement (FORM SRM-IV) is also required. The notification applies to goods listed in the appended Schedule, covering various tobacco and related products.
