of <h1>Haryana Govt Authorizes Account Aggregators to Access GST Portal Info with Consent u/s 158A.</h1> The Haryana Government's Excise and Taxation Department has issued a notification under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective October 1, 2023, 'Account Aggregator' systems are authorized to receive information shared by the common portal, contingent on consent under section 158A of the HGST Act. An 'Account Aggregator' is defined as a non-financial banking company operating under Reserve Bank of India guidelines, as outlined in the Non-Banking Financial Company - Account Aggregator Directions, 2016. The notification is issued by the Principal Secretary to the Haryana Government.
