of <h1>Rajasthan Finance Department amends GST notification; special procedure effective January 2024, retroactive from August 2023.</h1> The Government of Rajasthan's Finance Department has issued an amendment to Notification No. F.12(11)FD/Tax/2023-31 dated August 16, 2023, under the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment specifies that the special procedure outlined in the original notification will take effect from January 1, 2024, and this change is retroactively applicable from August 16, 2023. The amendment was made following the recommendations of the Council and is authorized by the powers conferred under Section 148 of the Act.
