of <h1>Meghalaya GST Act: Account Aggregators Authorized for Info Sharing via Common Portal Starting October 1, 2023.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya, under Section 158A of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has notified 'Account Aggregator' as the authorized systems for information sharing via the common portal, effective October 1, 2023. An 'Account Aggregator' is defined as a non-financial banking company that operates in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India's policy directions under the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. This notification was issued by the Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department on July 31, 2023, following recommendations from the Council.
