of <h1>Tamil Nadu Forms New GST Advance Ruling Authority with Two Members under 2017 Act.</h1> The Tamil Nadu Government has issued a notification under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, superseding a previous notification from December 21, 2022. This new notification, dated August 25, 2023, establishes the Tamil Nadu Authority for Advance Ruling. The authority will consist of two members: an Additional Commissioner of GST and Central Excise, effective from June 21, 2023, and a Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, effective from October 28, 2022. The notification is issued by the Secretary to the Government from the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department.
