of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Notification: Updates Reference and Definitions Effective July 2023.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has amended Notification No. 26/2018-State Tax (Rate) from January 18, 2019. Under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the amendment changes the reference from 'paragraph 4.41' to 'paragraph 4.40' in the opening paragraph. It also updates the definitions in the Explanation section, replacing clause (a) with the definition of the 'Foreign Trade Policy, 2023' and clause (b) with the 'Handbook of Procedures' as notified by the Government of India. This amendment is effective from July 27, 2023.
