of <h1>Goa Government Amends GST Notification: Date Extended from June 30 to August 31, Effective Retroactively.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(245)/3445 dated May 12, 2023, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the date in the proviso from June 30, 2023, to August 31, 2023. This amendment is effective retroactively from June 30, 2023, as per the powers granted by Section 128 of the Act and upon the Council's recommendations. The notification was issued by the Department of Finance, Revenue & Control Division, and is published in the Official Gazette.
