of <h1>Bihar GST Act Section 128: Date in Tax Notification Amended to August 31, 2023, Effective Retroactively.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, under the authority of section 128 of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended the Commercial Taxes Department's notification No. S.O. 4 from January 2, 2018. The amendment changes the date in the seventh proviso from '30th day of June, 2023' to '31st day of August, 2023.' This amendment is retroactively effective from June 30, 2023. The notification was issued by the order of the Governor of Bihar and signed by the Commissioner of State Tax-cum-Secretary.
