of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Extends GST Deadline to August 31, 2023, via Notification No. 22/2023 u/s 128.</h1> The State Taxes and Excise Department of Himachal Pradesh has issued Notification No. 22/2023, amending Notification No. 73/2017-State Tax. This amendment, enacted under section 128 of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, extends the date specified in the seventh proviso from '30th day of June, 2023' to '31st day of August, 2023.' The amendment is effective retroactively from June 30, 2023, as approved by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh based on the GST Council's recommendations.
