This notification, effective from October 1, 2023, defines 'Account Aggregator' as a non-financial banking company operating under the Reserve Bank of India's guidelines and the Non-Banking Financial Company - Account Aggregator Directions, 2016. This decision follows recommendations from the Council and aims to streamline data sharing processes under the RGST Act.
