of <h1>Notification No. 56/2023-Customs (N.T.) Updates Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and More, Effective August 1, 2023.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 56/2023-Customs (N.T.) to amend the tariff values for various goods, effective August 1, 2023. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, and brass scrap, among others. Additionally, the tariff values for gold and silver, in various forms, are updated. The notification also maintains the tariff value for areca nuts. These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and replace previous tables in the 2001 notification.
