of <h1>NABARD Authorized for Voluntary Aadhaar Authentication for Agricultural Loans Under Aadhaar Act 2016 Rules.</h1> The Central Government has authorized the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) to perform Aadhaar authentication on a voluntary basis. This authorization is in accordance with the Aadhaar Act, 2016, and related rules for good governance. NABARD can use Yes/No or e-KYC authentication for residents applying for agricultural loans through its portal. The bank must comply with all relevant provisions of the Aadhaar Act, rules, regulations, and directions from the Unique Identification Authority of India. This notification takes effect from its publication date in the Official Gazette.
