of <h1>Gujarat Government Amends GST Rules: Threshold Reduced from Ten Crore to Five Crore Rupees Effective August 2023.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 13/2020-State Tax dated 27th March 2020, under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. Effective from 1st August 2023, the amendment changes the threshold amount in the notification's first paragraph from 'ten crore rupees' to 'five crore rupees.' This change is made on the recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council and is issued by the Finance Department in the name of the Governor of Gujarat.
