This amendment, under section 164 of the Jharkhand GST Act, 2017, involves the omission of rules 122, 124, 125, 134, and 137 from the Jharkhand GST Rules, 2017. Additionally, modifications include changing 'Duties' to 'Functions' in rule 127 and revising the definition of 'Authority' in the Explanation following rule 137. The notification was issued by the Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department on June 1, 2023.
