<h1>New Customs Tariff Values Announced: Changes for Palm Oils, Brass Scrap, Gold, and Silver Effective June 1, 2023.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 38/2023-Customs (N.T.) to amend tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective June 1, 2023, the updated tariff values include crude palm oil at $898 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $984, crude palmolein at $994, and RBD palmolein at $997. Brass scrap is valued at $4873 per metric tonne. Gold is set at $629 per 10 grams, and silver at $754 per kilogram. Areca nuts remain unchanged at $10379 per metric tonne.
