of <h1>Tripura GST Act Waives Late Fees for GSTR-9 Filings from FY 2022-23; Caps Fees Based on Turnover.</h1> The Government of Tripura has issued a notification under the Tripura Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, waiving late fees for GSTR-9 filings for the financial year 2022-23 onwards. For registered persons with a turnover up to five crore rupees, the late fee is capped at 25 rupees per day, with a maximum of 0.02% of turnover. For those with a turnover between five and twenty crore rupees, the fee is 50 rupees per day, with the same maximum. Additionally, late fees exceeding ten thousand rupees are waived for returns from 2017-18 to 2021-22 filed by June 30, 2023.
