of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Extends GST Order Deadlines for FY 2017-20 u/s 168A; New Dates Announced.</h1> The Government of Himachal Pradesh has amended Notification No. 13/2022-State Tax, extending the limitation period under Section 168A of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from April 10, 2023, extends the deadline for issuing orders under Section 73(9) for tax recovery related to unpaid or short-paid taxes and wrongly availed input tax credits. The new deadlines are December 31, 2023, for the financial year 2017-18, March 31, 2024, for 2018-19, and June 30, 2024, for 2019-20. This extension is made on the Council's recommendation.
