of <h1>India Updates Currency Exchange Rates for Imports/Exports with Notification No. 29/2023, Effective April 21, 2023.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 29/2023 dated April 20, 2023, superseding Notification No. 26/2023. This notification establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods, effective April 21, 2023. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists exchange rates for individual foreign currency units, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 33/2023, effective May 5, 2023.
